I often surf through the free radio offerings on iTunes.

I recently found the station ASTRAL under the ‘Ambient’ tab and, yes, it does the job.  It’s very relaxing, so much so it makes me sleepy.  Recommended for when you are feeling stressed and need to relax or want to wind down to go to sleep.

Another good station for more productive mental work is one of the Baroque music stations under the ‘Classical’ tab.  I recommend Barock music (funny spelling, but that’s what they call it).  They just cycle the same 12 songs or so but they are good songs.  Baroque music leads me to a pleasant and clear-headed state of mind.  Good for reading and writing and studying.

This is a good song I ran across recently on an ambient radio channel.  Nice little piece to sit back to and relax and enjoy.  I love the lyrics, where the woman sings In my soul I believe I can change the world. It reminds me a bit of Moby. What do you think?
